Alessandro Giua is an italian art director and designer currently working in London specialised on strategy, innovation, digital products, mobile and communication.
I was born in Milan in 1989. Driven by a passion for art and drawing, I studied at Brera (arts high school) where I developed an interest for advertising. At the age of 19 I started working at Cayenne (Dentsu) as a Digital Art Director, supporting brands such as Babybel, Edison (EDF), Europ Assistance, Ferrero, FMR, Media World (Mediamarket), Shiseido, Sisal, Skoda Auto (Volkswagen), TIM (Telecom Italia), Webank (BPM Group).
In 2013 (when I was 23), I joined DGT Media (Italia Brand Group) as Senior Art Director, then promoted to Deputy Creative Director. My clients included A2A, BTicino, Chanel, DMAX (Discovery Communications), Febal, Feltrinelli Group, IWBank (UBI Banca), Laeffe TV, La Gardenia, La Martina, Limoni (Leading Luxury Group), Nhow (NH Hotel), Stefanel, Sky, TeleTu (Vodafone), TOD’s.
In 2015 I moved to London to work in a different context – more international – expanding my knowledge and experience on emerging digital and mobile media technologies, and their impact and implications for people. Here I’ve worked at Roll Studio, a digital production company, to produce R&D projects and interactive experiences together with the developing team.
Now I’m working at Fetch (part of Dentsu Aegis Network), top 50 digital agency in 2016 and fastest growing mobile marketing agency in Europe. Working as the art director and designer for incredible brands (Fetch works with some of the world’s most pioneering brands including Uber, Facebook, Hulu, HSBC, Expedia, eBay, Hotels.com and Apple), I have the opportunity to play in a wide range of key projects and in diverse disciplines which include content and campaigns, concept and strategy development, mobile video, social media, experiential and mobile marketing.
In December 2011 I founded Crebs. Now Crebs is the most important creative & tech job board in Italy.
